Jeff was born on a cold May's evening in the humble town of Fullerton, California. His parents, Richard and Betsy, were decent human beings, and therefore did the right thing: moved to Texas to raise him properly. Now that Jeff has spent 5 1/2 years in a not-Texas environment, and tried to spread the message of "Texas is Better" to a not-receptive crowd, he has learned to accept his circumstances with dignity. It is this patience and resiliance that has led Jeff to the guitar, purchased originally by his parents at a flee market. (Ironically, for his brother.) Since Jeff lived in Mesa, AZ, the 4th most boring city in the United States, he chose to while away the 9 hours by learning how to play that confounded contraption. likes Ice Cream, hubcaps, Marisa, the Dallas Cowboys, Pancakes, the "Rush Limbaugh Show", and last but not least, pens which write smoothly and effectively. dislikes Limes, fingernails on the chalkboard, Communism, the Zone Defense, Rep. I was born a humble fourth out of five kids and lived in different small towns, until moving to Mesa, AZ on Dec. 23 1989. I was a dork and nobody liked me. Its true! I was suicidal for a little bit, but God got me through that (thank You Jesus!). Since then I have realized how mightily God moves through everyone's lives in order to prepare them for His work and glory. When I was baptized in Lake Tahoe, there was a tremendous blizzard and the waves were huge, so me thinks Satan did not want this Christian to be lost from his grasp. Sometime after I moved here, a demon started stalking me and it was the most terrifying thing that I think could ever happen to anybody. Ever wanna know more, just contact me sometime - way too much to write right here. But all these experiences have helped me to realize that Satan simply does not want any Christian who is living to use the talents that God has given to him/her, because if they do then they will be working against Satan's kingdom in everything they do. So I started getting heavily involved into music, which has always been a love of mine. My first instruments were viola and piano, which gave way to harp, violin, and finally guitar, which I've been playing for about 4(?) years now. dislikes Satan - the weenie likes most things - pretty much everything not Satan ambiguous some things favorite.bands Skillet, Noise Ratchet, Dogwood, Sup the Chemist, PAX217, Benjamin Gate, The Elms, Gospel Gangstaz, K2S, Philmore, Stavesacre, Project 86, POD, John Rueben, Switchfoot, Old School Value Pac, FIF, T Bone, Polarboy, Mary Mary, Tragedy Ann, Plumb, Mozart, Salvador, American Made, Smee, Shelly Nirider (Jesus, Lover of My Soul), early Jennifer Knapp, W's, Overcome, Indwelling, Reliant K, Banana Phone, Joy Electric, The Echoing Green, Supertones, Klank, Midnight Orchestra, Saviour Machine, Raving Lunatics, Prodigal Son, Sick of Change, Plankeye (old school and new), Audio Adrenaline, Hangnail, Passion, Newsboys, DC Talk (and all their solo projects), LA Symphony, Insyderz, Ill Ha, DJ Maj, These Five Down, Apoptygma Berzerk (gotta love the name), shall I keep going? ok...if you insist....muahahaha....wolgemut, skillet again... favorite.author Frank Peretti favorite.movies Matrix, Veggie Tales, Star Wars favorite.verse Psalm 150:6 "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Well, I unlike either of my esteemed colleagues, have been born and raised in Mesa, AZ. As one of the few, rare natives found in this desolate - but beautiful - desert, I would be the last to say that my hometown (according to some more cynical) is the 4th most boring suburb in the United States. Thankfully, the Lord had other plans and rescued me from the energy-sapping heat and burned into my little body a passion for His Glory around 1989 (quickly leading to baptism), as well as an interest in the technical side of the youth ministry at my church. In 4th grade I started running the light system at Central Christian Church, and began training on the sound board. At the end of my sixth grade year, Peter Miele (at that time led the worship for the youth), asked if I would like to run the sound for the high school. Well I did, and thus began a learning and maturing process in leadership that continues today as my beautiful wife and I work together at a church plant in Cave Creek, AZ (Sanctuary) and as I work as the president and executive director of Monsuun Ministries Inc. with several close Christian brothers and sisters.
